Products in Russia are rising faster than in Europe

29 Oct 2014. Rosstat estimates as for 9 months in our country was changing product prices.

It was found that for 9 months in Russia products rose by 2.7%. The growth of prices for food in our country is ahead of the European almost 4 times (where food prices over the same period grew by only 0.7%).

A more favourable situation was observed in Europe and in terms of seasonal price reductions: as a whole it amounted to 0.4%, whereas the us in September products fell by 0.2%. In some countries, prices fell a record (in Romania - by 0.7%, in Spain, Estonia and Portugal - 1.2-1.6 per cent).

Price growth in Russia due to causes such as increased fuel prices, increased excise taxes on alcohol, etc.
