Salad with herring and pickled onions
2 Fresh herring
3 potatoes
1 beet
2 carrots
2 pickles
2 tomatoes
2 Art. l. sauerkraut
1 glass pickled onions
2 Art. l. vegetable oil
dill and parsley
salt and sugar to taste
Vegetables cooled and cleaned. Cut the vegetables and pickles slices, put them in sauerkraut, all mixed, add the marinated onions, vegetable oil, salt and sugar to taste. In vinaigrette put the pieces of fillet cooked and chilled herring. Place the salad heaped on top decomposed fish and garnish with slices of tomatoes, cucumbers, green. Salad can be prepared with smoked herring (1 pc.).
