Most of the crop of bananas in Uganda and in neighbouring Burundi (and they account for more than 50 varieties) is used in making beer. They prepare many different dishes. For example, porridge from a sliced banana or an omelet ham and bananas. Bananas can also add in tomato soup. Popular and fried bananas. And finally, they prepare a variety of salads!

In Africa eat and potatoes. In Guinea bake even potato pancakes according to the ancient recipe, remaining from the German colonizers. Only bake them for palm oil.

In the kitchen of West Africa use many of the products that are happy to eat in Europe supporters of a healthy lifestyle: rice, poultry, fish, vegetable oils (e.g. palm oil) and lots of fruit. But here, eat cassava, shells, turtles and snakes.

Modern housewife from Lagos or Accra has to offer you to taste cocoloco, which means "give me the strength and courage of men". Although it is quite harmless spinach salad.

Nigerians will treat you to eliom - dish, cooked rice, onion, red pepper, tomato puree, dried fish, ground nuts, thyme and fresh fish. And yet Africans are very fond of spicy sauces.
