Sweet toast with jam
200-250 g of yesterday's bread
1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
Milk - 200 ml

2 tbsp. l. honey
jam Maheev "Strawberry"
ground cinnamon
ghee or butter
What to do:
Step 1
Beat the egg yolk and milk until smooth. Add honey and whisk again.
Step 2
Cut the bread slices 1.5 cm thick. Prepare a large frying pan, put oil and place it over medium heat. Dipping for 1 piece of bread in the egg-milk mixture on both sides, waiting until bread absorbs liquid. Putting the pieces in the pan, and on a clean plate at each other - began to roast at the same time.
Step 3
Fry croutons under cover until golden brown, 2 min. on each side. Reduce the heat to low, on the upper side of fried toast put a little jam, sprinkle with cinnamon and warm up the fire under the lid for 1 minute. Serve hot.
