Chicken with rice in Basque
2 pcs. chicken
50 g chopped tomatoes
4 sweet red pepper - pod
450 g pork sausage
some sausage to choose? we'll show
200-250 g rice
2 Art. l. chopped onion
1 Savory - twig
1.5 h. l. salt
2 black pepper - pea
3 Art. l. pork fat
crushed marjoram - pinch
1 Art. l. ground red pepper
1 grated lemon zest
Prepared chicken fry until golden brown entirely in terms of fat with onions, salt and crushed red pepper. Pour warm water, put one piece of sausage, zest, pepper, cover and simmer over low heat until tender.
For seasoning shredded pepper fry in the remaining oil, add sliced tomatoes, oregano or savory, salt and simmer over low heat 4minuty. Sprinkle with red pepper.
Cook the rice in plenty of salted water (1: 6) until cooked for 12 minutes, flip. Put the rice in a dish, pour 2 cups of broth in which stewed chicken, and warm until complete evaporation of the liquid.
Cut the chicken into portions, put on the rice, spread out around the seasoning, complete your sausage, sliced, and greens.
