Pilau rice with squid
400 g squid
150 g long-grain rice
1 onions
1 carrot
vegetable fat
ground black pepper
spices (saffron, Cumin et al. taste)
salt
Boil until half the water in the rice, salted and boil it for 10 minutes after boiling, and then rinse with cold water.
Peeled, cut into half rings onion, carrots rubbed on a coarse grater on oil to fry until tender.
Squid defrosted, cleaned, rinsed and cut into squares.
Stir rice, squid and vegetables in a frying pan or other container, suitable for extinguishing pilaf, add seasonings and spices, pour the water (an amount such that it is slightly covered rice), cover, simmer at medium temperature in the preheated oven until done.
Served with rice pilaf squid both hot and cold.
