Beef "Welsh" in beer
700 g beef broth
600 g flesh beef
500 g light beer
2 onions
2 Art. l. vegetable oil
2 Art. l. wheat flour

1 h. l. oregano or marjoram dried
1 h. l. sugar
ground black pepper
Cut the meat into cubes 4 cm and fry until golden brown, lay out of the frying pan, lightly fry the onion in it, sprinkle it with flour, fry another 2 minutes, then pour the beer, broth, add spices, sugar and salt. Bring sauce to a boil.
Add the meat to the sauce, cover tightly with a lid and simmer for about 2 hours in the oven at 180 degrees.
Before serving, put the beef "Welsh" in beer on a platter, garnish with fresh vegetables and boiled potatoes.
Beef cooked in this recipe is perfect as a first course on New Year's table.
