Onion soup with cheese toast
4 onions
6 slices of white bread
6 basil leaves
2 l broth
6 Art. l. grated hard cheese
2 Art. l. butter

Cut the onion rings, fry on a part oil, add the hot broth, pepper and salt and bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
Fry the slices of bread in the remaining oil.
Pour into soup fireproof dish, put a plate on each slice of bread, sprinkle with grated cheese, put in a hot oven for 5-7 minutes.
Before serving, arrange basil soup.
