Chokeberry jam with rum
Ingredients:
1 kg chokeberry
1.3 kg sugar
2 glass water
1 glass juice (any)
2 Art. l. rum
1/2 glass citric acid
Rowan is best harvested after the first frost. Berries are separated from the brush, wash stand, covered, not too hot oven for 2-5 hours. Sugar, water, and the resulting juice to cook the syrup, berries dipped in it, add the rum and cook until transparent berries. At the end of cooking, add citric acid. So you can cook the jam from chokeberry.
