Cabbage soup with fresh cabbage with potatoes
Ingredients:
1.3 l meat or fish broth
600 g cabbage
350 g potato
120 g carrot
50 g parsley root
120 g onion
200 g tomatoes - or tomato puree - 40 g
40 g butter (ghee, vegetable or cooking oil)
40 g sour cream
20 g greens
pepper, salt, bay leaves - to taste
Prepare the broth (see. Recipe "Broth" or "Fish broth" ). Vegetables peeled. Scald the tomatoes and remove their skin.
Potatoes cut into cubes, cabbage, carrots, onions, parsley root - sticks, tomatoes - slices.
Passer onions on a hot pan with fat for about 5 minutes until golden brown, add the carrots, parsley and Passer another 10 minutes, then add the tomato puree and heated together for 5-6 minutes.
In the boiling broth lay the cabbage, bring to a boil and add potatoes. Cook 15 minutes, lay browned with tomato puree the vegetables and cook for another 10 minutes. Then introduced spices and vegetables brought to readiness. If you are using tomatoes, put them in 5 minutes until cooked soup.
Ready soup insist 15-20 minutes, pour into bowls, sprinkle with chopped greens and put sour cream.
Soup can be served with a slice of meat, fish, poultry, depending on the broth used to cook soup.
