Canned soup for the winter
5 kg tomatoes
2.5 kg cabbage
2 kg onions
2 kg sweet pepper
2 kg beet
2 kg carrots
500 ml vegetable oil
175-185 g 9% vinegar
1 glass sugar
0.5 glass salt
pepper
bay leaves
parsley
dill
Making this recipe canning borscht for the winter, you will not regret. The process, though time-consuming, but worth it, as it turns out a great meal.
Tomatoes and onions need to scroll in a meat grinder, cabbage, finely chop, grate the beets and carrots, peppers cut into strips, mix all ingredients except vinegar.
45-60 minutes to cook soup, add vinegar, peppercorns, bay leaf, finely chopped parsley and dill for 5 minutes before end of cooking.
Then canning is done as follows: soup poured into sterile jars, lids rolled.
With the specified number of ingredients obtained 12-13 liters of borscht.
Winter soup to cook this way: put on fire 3 liters of water, cut the potatoes into cubes, boil it until tender, then add 1 liter of harvested borscht, cook for 5 minutes.
