Tomato-onion sauce-procurement
2 kg tomatoes
600 g onions
5-6 buds carnations
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar 30%
6 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Fragrant sauce, which is equally good with pasta, meat, meatballs.
Tomatoes washed, cut out the stem, chop through meat grinder, blender or processor, put in a saucepan and simmer 10 minutes over medium heat.
Peel the onions, cut into rings, add to the tomatoes with all the spices, except the vinegar and sugar, continue cooking for another 20 minutes, then add sugar and vinegar, put another 10 minutes
Next tomato and onion sauce-logging if desired, pour into sterilized banks, sterile cork lids, allow to cool at room temperature and remove for storage in the cold.
