Appetizer of calamari "Romano"
800 g squid
150 g flour

10 g dry white wine
10 g yeast
2 eggs
1 lemon
1 lemon (juice)
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. thyme
? tsp. salt
1 pinch of pepper
vegetable oil for frying
This wonderful Christmas appetizer will surprise all home and will definitely appeal to both children and adults.
Remove the skin and the inside of the squid, dry them, cut into rings, mix it with lemon juice, vegetable oil, thyme and pepper and leave to marinade for 1 hour at room temperature.
Egg yolks connect with wine, flour, yeast and salt, and proteins whisk until a stable foam, then carefully connect them with the dough, cover it with a cloth, leave for half an hour at room temperature.
Remove the squid from the marinade one, put in the batter, then fry in butter until Golden-brown crust, then put the squid on a napkin to the glass excess oil.
