Salted tomatoes
The most famous summer snack are salted cucumbers, which is not surprising. Because cucumbers, with young potatoes - it's so delicious. But today we will talk at all about the other vegetable salted tomatoes. They, of course, are significantly inferior to its popularity cucumbers. But, in my opinion, it is not deserved.
Salted tomatoes get no worse cucumbers, sweet aroma and moderately salty. They are perfectly diversify any table, not just the daily and mundane, but festive. In addition, the tomatoes will perfectly complement any dish made from meat, fish, poultry, cereals, vegetables and other Goodies.
If you want to speed up the time of salting the tomatoes, then take them to the small size or large tomatoes cut in half. Store the tomatoes up to two weeks, but in a cool place.
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes - 10 PCs
- Dill
- Tarragon
- Currant leaves
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Dried umbrellas dill
- Bay leaf
- Allspice pepper
- Black pepper
- Salt - 1,5 tbsp.
- Warm water - 1 liter
Method of preparation:
At the bottom of the jar put all the herbs: dill, tarragon, leaves of currant and dried umbrellas dill.
Peel the garlic cloves, cut them in half and put in a jar.
Wash the tomatoes and place them tightly into the jar. On top of the tomatoes put another all the greens and halved garlic.
Dissolve salt in warm water and pour the tomatoes brine. Do not fill the tomatoes with hot water, otherwise they may crack. Close the jar lid and leave the tomatoes to soak for 6 hours.
