Herring in Japanese
50 ml water
4 herring sardine
1 plum (plum) green
2 tbsp. sake/white table wine
1 tbsp. flour

1 tbsp. soy sauce

Herring wash, dry, clear, circle cut, put in a pan, pour water, add sake/wine, soy sauce and flour over low heat put out, constantly basting with sauce, until tender and cooked fish.
Served herring in Japanese with a side dish of steamed rice.
