Cake "Karabas-Barabas"
To prepare the filling:
700 g cherry without a stone
500 g cottage cheese
400 g thick cream
120 g sugar
100 g grated chocolate
10 g gelatin
1 orange (grated zest and juice)
For the dough:
200 g buckwheat flour
150 g sugar
5 eggs
1 pinch of salt
2 tsp. baking powder for the dough
vanilla (pinch)
Combine egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, 5 tbsp water, whisking.
Egg whites salt and whisk.
Combine flour and baking powder, mix with egg whites and yolks, knead the dough.
Put the batter into the pan, lined with parchment paper, bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes to Cool, cut into 3 cakes.
Beat 100 g sugar, sour cream, juice and orange zest, grated cheese and half of the chocolate.
Put the cakes on each other, lubricating stuffing. Remove the cake out in the cold.
Soak gelatin in cold water, dissolve it in a water bath.
Heat the cherries with the sugar until it has dissolved, add the gelatine and allow to cool.
Put the cherries on top of cake and sprinkle with the chocolate, cool.
