Apple jelly with lemon and ginger
2.5 kg apples
2 kg sugar
30 g ginger root
4 lemon
Pour 500 ml of water in a saucepan, add sugar syrup to boil stirring until it reaches a consistency at which the drip slowly with a spoon.
Clear apples, cut the seed boxes, finely chop the flesh.
Clear ginger, rub on a grater, mix with the lemon zest and apples, add the mixture to the syrup.
Welded to the jelly low heat while stirring about 1.5 hours.
Ready jelly apple with lemon and ginger poured into sterilized jars, lids tightly capped and stored in a cool place.
