Donuts with nuts and poppy seeds
Dough:
500 g flour (+ for topping)

200 ml warm milk
25 g live yeast
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
2 tbsp. vodka/rum
1 tbsp. sugar
Filling:
100 g ground poppy
40 g crushed hazelnuts
2 tbsp. rum (optional)
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. apricot jam
powdered sugar
vegetable oil
In warm milk dissolve the yeast, add the sugar and salt, eggs, rum, stir thoroughly, enter the flour, knead smooth non-sticky dough.
Leave the dough, covered, in warm place for an hour once during this time to press down.
For the filling mix the poppy seeds with walnuts, honey and jam, add rum if desired.
Divide the dough into 2 equal parts, work surface, sprinkle with flour, roll out each piece into a rectangular layer of about 2-3 mm thick.
Put 1 tsp. of filling on every 6 cm of the dough, cover with a second layer and tightly pressed between the filling and the edges, cut out donuts with slots for biscuits.
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet, fry the donuts with nuts and poppy seeds in hot oil until taromenane, then put on paper towel to absorb excess oil, sprinkle before serving with powdered sugar.
