Duck in honey sauce
1.5 kg duck
2 Art. l. honey
100 g onion
50 g dry white wine
1 glass water
1-2 Art. l. thyme (dried thyme)
parsley
ground black pepper, salt
Duck with salt and pepper, place in baking dish and cook together with thyme without adding fat until tender. Remove the duck and pour heated with oil.
Put in a baking dish honey, chopped onions, warm it over low heat until golden brown, dilute the wine and water, boil for 5 minutes. Strain the sauce.
Slice the duck portions, put on warm plates, pour sauce.
For garnish you can submit braised in butter slices of apples.
