Beef with prunes
1 kg beef
0.5 glass fat
1 onions
ground red pepper (paprika)
Salt to taste
750 g prunes
2-3 Art. l. sugar
1 Art. l. tomato puree
1 glass wine
black pepper
2-3 lemon slices

Cut into serving pieces and fry the meat in a glass of fat 0.5. Add finely chopped onion, a teaspoon of sweet red pepper, salt and fry well. Pour meat with hot water and when it starts to become soft, add the prunes, previously soaked in water.
After about 30 minutes in a small saucepan or frying pan to burn the sugar, add water to dissolve it, and pour into the meat. Put the tomato paste diluted in a glass of wine, a few peas black pepper, 2-3 cloves of lemon (or cinnamon powder - a pinch). When the meat and prunes are almost ready, fry the flour with butter and also enter into the meat to thicken the sauce. Serve the dish the next day.
