Turkey stuffed with rice and dried fruits
3-4 kg turkey - 1 pc. ()
300 g rice
200 g celery
150 g onion
50 g vegetable fat
50 g raisins
100 g dried apricots
100 g fig
salt, thyme, pepper - to taste
Boil the rice for stuffing. Celery and onion peel, chop finely and saut in butter until tender. Add the rice with raisins, dried apricots and figs.
Turkey, wash, dry, zafarshiruyte, sew neck-hole, tie the legs, rub with salt and spices. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Cover foil turkey and bake for 2 hours. For half an hour until cooked, remove the foil and periodically watering turkey juice leaked on a baking sheet.
