Baked potatoes with ham
2 h. l. butter

2 h. l. flour
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
0.5 glass milk
1.5 h. l. sherry or chicken broth
1 h. l. Worcestershire sauce
0.5 glass grated cheddar cheese
1-2 medium potatoes
1 glass diced ham ready
1/4 glass finely chopped onion
spices to taste (optional)
In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add and mix the flour, salt, pepper (if desired you can add other seasonings to your taste). Gradually enter the milk, sherry or chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to the boil with constant stirring cook for 1 minute before thickening. Reduce heat, add a quarter cup of grated cheese. Remove from heat.
Potatoes cut into thin slices. Put a layer of half the potatoes on a greased baking dish. Put another layer of ham, onions and half of the prepared sauce. Repeat layers. Cover cap shape and bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes or until softened potatoes. Remove the lid and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted.
