Ginger jam with orange peels
Ingredients:
150 g ginger (fresh)
2 pcs. orange (peel)
2/3 glass sugar
1 pcs. lemon (juice)
Ginger peel, cut into cubes, put in a jar and cover with cold water. In other banks put fresh orange peel and add water. Soak for three days, three times a day changing water.
Drain with ginger and orange peel. Cut into small cubes. Prepare the syrup: in water, add sugar, put the chopped ginger and brown. Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Let stand for 3 hours. Repeat this procedure two more times. The last time jam bring to a boil, pour the lemon juice and put the jam on the banks. It is better to keep the jam in the fridge.
