Ingredients:

1 kg physalis

1.2 kg sugar

Ripe fruit of Physalis (better strawberry) is purified, washed in hot water, prick (otherwise the skin will not miss a dense sugar syrup) and pour hot syrup (0.5 kg of sugar dissolved in 0.5 liters of water and boil for three to four minutes). Berries syrup incubated for at least 4 hours, then added an additional 0.5 kg of sugar, heated gently with stirring until sugar is dissolved, boiled for 8-10 minutes, avoiding the rapid boil. Again incubated 6 hours, then add sugar residue and cook a little longer.
