British pie "Christmas"
680 g of different dried fruits (apricots, figs, prunes, cherries, dried berries, raisins, and so on)
340 g currants, raisins, dried cranberries, and/or cherry
280 g flour

230 g butter unsalted
110 g milk chocolate
110 g dark chocolate
110 g shredded different nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans or almonds)
65 g almonds, ground
3 eggs
1 lemon (juice and zest)
1 orange (juice and zest)
3 tbsp. brandy+
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
cherry pitted (fresh/frozen)
Cherry frozen or fresh cut in half.
Beat with a mixer until lightness eggs with butter, add eggs one at a time, pour in the brandy, rum or brandy, add the juice and the orange zest, lemon zest, stir, pour the mixture into the container of nuts, dried and candied fruit.
Separately mix the flour with the baking powder, salt, combine with egg and nut mass, stir, knead the dough.
Take the form with removable bottom with a height of 20 cm, to cover it with parchment, grease it with butter, put the dough, place in a preheated 160 degree oven for an hour, then reduce heat to 150 degrees and bake for another 90 minutes
To check the readiness of a wooden stick after tests it should remain slightly moist crumbs.
Before serving British pie "Christmas" is completely cool, cover with rum, cognac or brandy with a brush, wrap in foil before filing, if the filing to make whipped with sugar proteins, sprinkle with grated orange zest and lemon.
