1.5 kg sugar

1 kg cherries

250 g water

Remove from the washed cherry pits, pour hot syrup of sugar (1 cherries 800 grams of sugar and 500 grams of water). Divide in half the remaining sugar, adding it at the beginning of cooking. Cooking Jam need in two stages.

Withstand cherries in syrup at least 5h, drain.

In Strained add half the sugar syrup, boil down for 15 min, add cherry withstand it again for 5h. Again, strain, add sugar syrup, boil until dissolved, pour the syrup berries, cook until done.

Then canning is done as follows: the boiling jam poured into hot dry banks, seals the lacquer sterilized lids. Jars upside down so cool.
