Pears in syrup
For meals you will need: 500 g pears, 3/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, 1/2 cup water
Small pears clean and without cutting, put in a saucepan. Sprinkle with sugar, pour water and cook on low heat for 15 minutes. In Africa, this dish is usually added to red wine (half a cup), cinnamon and cook for another 15 minutes, but you can do without it. Then take out the pears from the syrup and put on a plate; concentrated syrup and pour over the pears.
Before serving cooled.
