Cherry Stuffing
Ingredients:
250 g cherries, pitted
175 g milk
what milk to choose? we'll show
150 g stale white bread
2 pcs. egg white
80 g butter
60 g sugar
1 Art. l. grated lemon peel
2 Art. l. chopped almonds
1/2 h. l. Ground cinnamon
Salt - to taste
60 g roasted almond flakes
200 g canned cherry jelly
Bread without crust cut into cubes and soak in warm milk.
Proteins whisk with salt in a stable foam.
Whisk butter with the sugar and lemon zest until fluffy mass. Mix bread, milk, almonds and whipped whites. Add cherries and cinnamon.
Put the resulting mass into a greased form and bake for 1 hour at 220 C.
Before serving, sprinkle over casserole almond flakes.
It is possible to submit casserole cherry jelly.
