Turkey, baked entirely in maple syrup
2 kg turkey
200 g Pecan (peeled)
75 g maple syrup
cinnamon Salt - to taste
Stir pecans, maple syrup, a pinch of cinnamon and salt water with a spoon, put on parchment and bake at 200C for 15 minutes.
Roast turkey for 1.5 hours, for the last 30 minutes roasting turkey coat with walnut mixture and 4 tablespoons maple syrup. Serve with baked potatoes and onions, small sausages and gravy.
