Chocolate cake from the fridge
150 g 20 crackers (about )
or any crackers / biscuits
2 glass 1 / almond halves
6 large carolivy
6 dried apricots, chopped
1 grated zest medium lemon
1 grated zest of a small lime
1 grated zest medium orange
340 g chocolate, broken into pieces
8 tbsp. (1/2 Cup) melted butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
Line the mould with parchment paper.
Break the biscuits into small pieces. Add almonds, prunes, apricots, and grated zest of lemon, lime and orange. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, stir chocolate, butter and honey (maple syrup). Melt the mixture in the microwave or in a water bath.
Add to the melted chocolate all the other ingredients and mix well.
Pour the batter in
the prepared mould.
Top close with cling film.
Put the cake in the refrigerator at least 5 hours or until until it hardens.
Before serving, I have to get the cake out of the fridge for 20 minutes. And cut into pieces.
