Compote of red c currants and apples
1 kg berries of red currant
1 kg apples
2 kg sugar syrup - 50%
1 g citric acid
Apples cut into pieces and put into a saucepan. The berries need to sort, separate from twigs and wash. After that, you need to put them in a saucepan and cover with syrup. To withstand it 10-12 hours, bring to a boil and cool. For long-term storage pour into jars and pasteurized, as all compotes.
