Compote of gooseberries fast food
1,2 kg gooseberry
for the syrup:
1 l water
500-700 g sugar
Quite a large berries prick and placed in jars on hangers. Blanched in hot water, pouring hot sugar syrup on the neck. After 5-7 minutes the syrup is poured into the pan, bring it to boil and then re-fill the jars with berries. So do again. Banks closed, sterilized and turned upside down for 24 hours for air cooling.
