Gruel with potatoes and bacon
2 l water
100 g fat
7-8 tubers Potato
2 head onions
1/2 cup millet
herbs, salt
Rinse thoroughly with millet, put in a saucepan, cover with boiling salted water, boil until half.
Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes, add to the millet, boil for 10 minutes.
Onion peel and with diced bacon and fry until browned, add to the millet and potatoes, bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes.
Before serving gruel with potatoes and bacon sprinkled with chopped parsley.
