Barley porridge with vegetables
500 ml water
120 g pearl barley
100 g frozen broccoli
50 g frozen green beans
5-6 garlic cloves
1-2 potatoes
1 large carrot
1 onions
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. curry powder
salt
Pearl barley should pre-soak, that it swelled.
Onion peel, finely chopped, 1-2 min fry in oil, add chopped garlic and curry, stir after 1 min to put barley (without liquid).
Carrots cut into circles, potato cubes, put in porridge, pour water, cover, 20 min cook at a low boil, then put the broccoli and beans, salt, cook for another 8-10 minutes
Served barley porridge with vegetables hot.
