Gooseberry jam with herbs
Ingredients:
1 kg gooseberry
1.2 kg sugar
500 g water
20 pcs. cherry leaves
2-3 fresh oregano - sprigs
Gooseberries wash, prick, pour cold water for 6-8 hours. The water is drained, add to it sugar, cherry leaves and oregano, bring to a boil, cool, filter. Boil again, dipped berries, bring to a boil, cool. The syrup is poured, boil, pour over the berries, cook until done.
