The gooseberry jam with cherry
Ingredients:
1 kg gooseberry
for the syrup:
500 g sugar
700 ml water
1/4 tbsp. cinnamon
Large green gooseberry cut from the side, take out the bones, then put in it a pre-washed and pitted cherries. Berries are filled with boiling syrup, boil on low flame for 5-10 minutes, then removed from heat and infuse for 4 hours. This procedure is repeated 3-5 times until the syrup becomes thick.
