Gooseberry jam with oregano
Ingredients:
1 kg gooseberry
1 kg sugar
500 g water
oregano (twigs)
15-20 pcs. cherry leaves
Gooseberry prick, with cold water for 8 hours. Water is drained, it is added sugar, cherries and oregano leaves, heated to boiling, cooled and filtered. Boil again, dipped berries, bring to a boil, cool. The syrup is poured, boil, pour over the berries, cook until done.
