1 kg gooseberry

1.5 kg sugar

3/4 glass water

Clean the seeds 5 glasses not quite ripened berries, if possible, of the same size. A handful of freshly picked cherry leaf cover with cold water, boil them and boiling solution, together with the leaves fill gooseberries. Allow the solution to cool and place in the refrigerator overnight. Morning in the boiling syrup, place taken out of the broth and boil the berries for 15 minutes, until the berries become translucent green. For 2 - 3 minutes before end of cooking add a dozen fresh, washed cherry leaves (they will remain in a jam) and let boil again. The jam is ready.
