Halva from carrots with raisins, coconut and nuts
400 g carrots
300 g sugar small
100 g coconut flakes
75 g cashew
75 g raisins
1 tbsp. butter
Raisins, rinse, cover with water and leave.
Peel, grate the carrots on a fine grater.
Take a deep heavy pan, melt the butter, cashew fry and put on paper towel to absorb excess fat.
Wipe the pan, put the carrots, add the coconut shavings on moderate heat for 5-10 minutes to saute, stirring occasionally and making sure the mixture was slightly burnt.
Coarsely chop the nuts with a knife.
Add sugar to the carrots, stir, stirring constantly for another 10 min to fry, add raisins, nuts, stir, remove from the stove.
Put the mixture in a covered greased baking paper form, slightly compacted, remove for a few hours in a cool place.
Before applying the paste of carrot with raisins, coconut and nuts is cut into small pieces.
