Carrot cake with walnuts
What you need:
1 glass peeled chopped walnuts
2 glass carrots grated
2 glass flour
what kind of flour should I choose? we'll show
1 glass vegetable oil refined
250 g cheese fresh
2 glass brown sugar
3 PCs egg
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon ground
0,5 tsp. cloves ground
grated nutmeg - pinch of
2 salt - a pinch
For the cream:
125 g soft cream cheese
2 tbsp. butter
0,5 glass powdered sugar
Sift flour and mix with baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt.
The cheese place in a bowl, add butter and sugar, stir with a mixer; then one by one add the eggs, whisking all the weight. Still whisking on low speed, gradually pour in the flour mixture. Then add the carrots and walnuts (to leave a little for decoration), stir.
Put the mixture into the baking pan with a diameter of 25 cm, smooth surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 �C for 1-1 .5 h (baking time depends on the juiciness of carrots), checking the readiness with wooden skewers.
For the cream, beat the butter with 1 tsp. of powdered sugar, add cream cheese and continue to beat until smooth. Not stopping to whisk, small portions add the remaining powdered sugar.
Remove the cake from the oven, allow to cool, remove from the mold, cover it with the cream and sprinkle with nuts.
