Cabbage braised with mushrooms and barberry
4 garlic cloves
2 tomato
2 onions
1 medium head cabbage
? glass water or broth
3 tbsp. cooked mushrooms of any
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1-2 tbsp. lemon juice (or white wine)
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. dried Goji berries or cranberries
? tbsp. sugar
Bay leaf
pepper
black pepper
salt
Chop the cabbage in thin strips, coarsely chop the onion, dice, slice the tomatoes, finely chop the garlic.
In a pot or deep pan, heat the oil until Golden fry onions, then add the mushrooms and tomatoes, continue cooking until tender, add all the spices, pepper, black pepper, salt, lemon juice, broth, barberry, Bay leaf, paprika, boiled for 5 minutes
Add to the other vegetables in the cabbage, stir, stirring occasionally, cook for 3-4 minutes, then add any spices to taste (optional), turn off, remove from heat.
Before serving, cabbage, braised with mushrooms and barberry unfolds on warm plates, served as a side dish or hot snacks.
