Soup with meatballs
Ingredients:
170 g beet
80 g cabbage
1 pcs. potato
40 g beans
1/2 pcs. carrot
1/2 onions - head
1 Art. l. tomato puree
2 h. l. melted butter
1 garlic - clove
1 sugar, lemon juice - to tsp.
800 g meat broth or water
1 h. l. sour cream
ground black pepper, salt, bay leaf to taste
2 Art. l. chopped fresh herbs
For the meatballs:
120 g pulp beef
10 g onion
1 pcs. yolk
ground black pepper, salt to taste
Beans soak in cold water for 6 hours, then fill with fresh water and boil until tender. Beets cook in the skin, peel and chop. Carrots and onions cut into strips, lightly fry in oil, add the tomato and cook for another 5 minutes.
In the boiling broth or water, put the cabbage, cut into strips, potatoes - diced, and cook for 10 minutes, then add the roasted vegetables, beets, beans and cook another 15 minutes. Season with soup sugar, lemon juice, pepper, garlic, mashed with salt, and cook for another 5 minutes.
When serving in a bowl put the meatballs (See below.), Pour soup, sour cream and sprinkle with herbs.
For beef meatballs pulp mince with onion, add 1 tsp. Of water, egg yolk, salt and pepper. Massu beat and roll small balls, simmered in water until tender.
