300 g peas;

1 kg the smoked pork shank with bone

In a large pot put the knuckle, fill with water, we shall season to taste with salt and cook for at least an hour.

Add the peas and cook for another hour. Peel the potatoes, slices into cubes, add to the soup and cook for another 30 minutes. Take a knuckle of soup, we will cut off the meat from the bone slices into cubes and put back in pan.

Onion and carrot finely cut, fry in vegetable oil until soft. Put the vegetables in the soup and cook for 20 minutes on low heat. In the soup add sliced meats.
